Collingwood Cup Week 2016
The 2016 Collingwood Cup will kick start this coming week, with a lot of excitement building around the college. The draw sees holders, and hosts, UCC waiting, in the quarter finals, for the winners of first round tie between Ulster University and NUI Maynooth.
Last seasons beaten finalists Trinity College Dublin have a Dublin derby clash with DCU in the quarter finals of the four day tournament which will be hosted by UCC with the final set for the Mardyke on Friday February 26.
The competition will run from the 23rd to the 26th of February. With the first games kicking off on the Tuesday the 23rd at 2:30pm. UCC will be playing their first game on Wednesday the 24th at 2:30pm, in the Mardyke. We want as much students and staff to attend this game in order to get behind the college, as we launch our defence of this prestigious tournament.
This years Collingwood Cup promises to bring as much excitement as ever with the best Universities in the country battling it out for the most coveted of prizes.
